TESPOK: Infrastructure for Members
About TESPOK Members’ Infrastructure
TESPOK (Technology Service Providers Association of Kenya) is a member body that represents technology service providers in Kenya. It also serves as the coordinator and organizer of meetings with government authorities, road contractors, regulators, and other related stakeholders for its members who primarily include Internet Service Providers (ISPs) who have deployed fiber optic networks across the country.
Safeguarding Infrastructure
One of the key responsibilities of TESPOK is to coordinate to ensure there is safeguarding of the infrastructure for its members. With the extensive fiber optic networks running along the country, TESPOK ensures the protection and security of these critical assets. By coordinating with various stakeholders, TESPOK actively works towards creating a conducive environment for the sustainable development and maintenance of the fiber infrastructure.
Identifying ISP Fibers
Industry currently uses color codes to identify the fiber networks of different ISPs on the map. Each ISP chooses a unique color code, allowing for easy identification and distinction. This color-coded mapping system helps in visualizing the network coverage and enables effective collaboration between TESPOK, ISPs, and relevant authorities.
