TESPOK recently engaged with the Ministry of Devolution to explore ways in which government–private sector collaboration can accelerate digital transformation in Kenya.
The discussions focused on:
- Expanding ICT infrastructure and fibre network coverage nationwide
- Delivering efficient e-services to citizens and ensuring universal connectivity
- Bridging the rural–urban divide by making broadband more affordable and accessible

TESPOK emphasized its role as the industry body where members actively contribute to shaping policy. Key priorities highlighted included supporting county governments in digitizing payments, simplifying access to services, and harmonizing wayleave charges — all of which will enhance partnerships with Internet Service Providers and improve service delivery.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to working with stakeholders like TESPOK through established intergovernmental forums to strengthen collaboration and support Kenya’s digital transformation journey.
At TESPOK, we remain committed to building a digitally inclusive Kenya and Africa through strong partnerships that drive innovation, efficiency, and access.
